Though introduction from our fellow supporter, Yamada-san, members of The Other House joined the festival in Iriya, July 17th, 2017.

As the long lived tradition had its own sense of tension revolving around the event, it was just interesting enough to sit around, and just stare at the scenery itself, but some of our members had the opportunity to participate in the event.

Festivals across Japan always have some kind of interesting twist, but the ones you want to check out are that of those done completely locally. The musicians, dancers, re-enactment performers, and the audiences are all local town and village members, who work in conjunction to make the festivity into one that is memorable.

Looking bad.a$$..!
